Dr. Bryan Hoertdoerfer has 25 years of dental experience and is well respected as a thought leader in Cosmetic Dentistry.
Well known for his friendly and compassionate manner, he is passionate about being able to offer his patients the latest dental technologies and techniques. Hoertdoerfer Dentistry is a general and cosmetic dental practice, serving patients from all over the New England area.
Always keeping his patients best interest in mind Dr. Hoertdoerfer proudly offers the latest dental technology to his patients. This includes a CBCT 3D high resolution /low radiation scan and same-day CEREC restorations for porcelain crowns, onlays and veneers. He specializes in the precise design, mill, sinter, glaze, and insertion of a crown within one visit. Dr. Hoertdoerfer also offers Philips Zoom Whitening, an in-office teeth whitening system that gives patients a whiter smile in just 90 minutes. He has extensive experience in implant and denture cases as well as collaborating with the best local oral surgeons in “teeth in a day” cases.
Hoertdoerfer Dentistry is very involved with the local community, and takes pride in being able to reach out and help those in need and support various charities. Dr. Hoertdoerfer, hosts The Big Z Challenge, an annual charity event with the Boston Bruins captain, Zdeno Chara. He has raised over $100,000 for the Mary & John Elliot Foundation supporting pediatric care at the Elliot Hospital and the planned expansion of the Elliot Regional Cancer Center. Dr. Hoertdoerfer was recently presented the 2017 Corey C. Griffin Impact Award by the NHL Alumni Pro-Am and the 2017 Robert and Lucille Davison Award for Philanthropy for his consistent generosity and passion.
Dr. Hoertdoerfer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Team for Implantology. He has been the Team Dentist for both the Long Island Lizards Professional Outdoor Lacrosse team, the New York Saints Professional Indoor Lacrosse team and has served as the Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentist to the Boston Bruins. He creates custom-fitted sport mouth guards for several of the Boston Bruins players, NHL players and members of the USA Olympic Skeleton team.
Dr. Hoertdoerfer is a graduate of S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and later served as an adjunct clinical professor. He completed his General Practice Residency at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and also graduated from Boston University with a BA majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology. In his down time, Dr. Hoertdoerfer enjoys spending time with his family, including his two young children, and is a member of a local men’s league ice hockey team.
